Chef Navi

Owner, Executive Chef
Chef Navi has been working in restaurants for over 15 years. Having grown up in the Fiji Islands off the coast of Australia, he specializes in Island food and has extensive experience with a variety of cuisines, including Italian, French, Indian, Asian, American, Mexican and more. Navi values personal connections and strives to provide friendly and professional services. He is excited to share his passion for beautiful, tasty food that is made from the best ingredients.

Carly Gilva

Operations Manager
Carly began working with Chef Navi as a server nearly 2 years ago while completing her Bachelor’s degree in Non-profit Development and Management at UW Tacoma. She joined the team full time in January 2019, applying her business knowledge gained through her studies to helping Chef Navi run the operational side of Navi’s Catering Kitchen. She uses her previous experience from several front of house positions in fine dining restaurants and non-profit event planning to help our clients to meet all of their event and catering needs.
